Schräge Musik, and a sad thought...

I was thinking about how cool it would be to have well modeled Schräge Musik in this sim. Then I realized how improbable it would be.

The enemy gunners are bots, thus nullifying any surprise factor. So basically the whole point of Schräge Musik.

Night missions with Schräge Musik (with or without radar) would be AWESOME.

Just some thoughts, discuss?

Not really applicable in our environment.  It was used to take out heavy bombers at night.  Not aware of its use in anything like our environment.

AI is the least of problem, as it dosent see you same at night as at day ( also in clouds).

Your skiping most important parts, no Helifax or lancasters, no map from East england to hamburg or berlin, so no need for that kined of weapon or airplanes in this game for long time, and nothing has to do with AI gunners :)

What amount of night missions did you see online? 1% at best, who would spend devs time to make 1500km+ map, english heavy bombers and just for few night missions lol

That would make sense once we get night bomber interception missions in the game. Prerequisite would be, of couse to have Lancasters, Halifaxes, Stirlings and Mosquitos in sufficient numbers present and have a Radar Ground Control System in place to lead the interceptors (Me 110, Ju 88, He 219, Do 217s) to the bomber streams. My guess is, since it is a niche within a niche and furthermore engine limitations speak against it, that you unfortunately won´t see that in the next decade.
