OG_FC Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 (edited) I bought BOS & BOM on Steam, Then BOBP, BOK, & FC here from the store. My game when launched through steam will only show BOS, & BOM. My question If I buy another Version of BOS here on the site then I should be able to link all my titles together without having to launch Steam correct. Of course I will have to buy BOM again but my main concerns is flying the P-47 and the Spad 13 the plane set from BOM is not that important to me right now. My steam version will load correctly if I shut down , power down the MOBO, wait 10 minutes and restart but I have to do that ever time I restart the game very aggravating. I have sent a ticket to IL2 support no response as yet figured it would take a while, just ready to say the &*^%^$ with Steam and install everything on a different drive. I have in the last two Days uninstalled BOS from Steam reinstalled checked all the files that I could local cache/download cache/ run the Bos Launcher after reinstall same thing every time. Any Help would be much appreciated. System Specs Acer Predator G6 Intel i7 7th Gen 4.2/5.0gb in turbo Nvidia GTX 1080 8gb/16gb ram 2x SSD 1Seagate HD Win10 64bit/ Edited February 22, 2019 by 51st_FC
RedKestrel Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Have you linked your steam account with your Il2sturmovik.com account? They changed the way the game interacts with Steam a while back and you should be prompted on trying to launch your game to link your steam account. That way all your content is available through Steam (though you then have to launch through Steam I believe). 1
Tyberan Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 I don't know why steam would require you to "power down" your mobo to work. Still don't know the specs your pc or what OS you are running. But it sounds like you have other programs hogging resources on your pc or conflicting with steam. I would suggest looking at steam support first since this seems to be the main issue. 1

You can do both. I have BoS/BoM through Steam and the rest through 1C Shop. After linking my Steam account with my 1C Account I can both start the game through Steam or another install through the 1C launcher. Important part is, that in both cases I have access to everything I own. Pretty neat, so linking your Steam account is the way to go. 1

And I made a post in the steam support they had no reply. 7 minutes ago, sevenless said: You can do both. I have BoS/BoM through Steam and the rest through 1C Shop. I have my account linked this just started last week so I don't know what to do to get it to work Thank You Both for replying, I am just tired of messing with it want to fly My Jug and my new favorite the Spad. If I dish out another 70$ it won't break the bank I guess
Tyberan Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 (edited) Is it any game on steam or just il2? If it's all games then something is wrong on your side. Try disabling other programs in the background or do a virus scan, update Windows, re install steam etc. Is the game accepted through your firewall? Edited February 22, 2019 by Tyberan 1
OG_FC Posted February 22, 2019 Author Posted February 22, 2019 Just IL2 is the only thing that I am having problems with. I guess what I am trying to figure out why if I power down my computer then flip the switch on the Motherboard then it works when I load the game, but only once. I thought about uninstalling steam and reinstalling but I would rather just get rid of it completely and run my sim on another drive without messing with steam. Thanks for taking time to reply.
[N.O.G.F]_Cathal_Brugha Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 I got BoS and BoM from steam, and BoK from the IL-2 store. This is from before they made the account linkup change; only BoK items were ingame, I had to 'activate' my steam keys in my profile on the IL-2 store website, then BoS and BoM showed up in the game. Might be something to check out. Under profile/license keys I believe all keys should say Activated next to them. 1

I think it has something to do with either windows 10 or Steam / because all titles show up if I power down everything flip the switch on the Motherboard, wait a while and restart so everything has to be already activated just not loading correctly. Thank you for taking time to reply..
