CB77Don246 Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 How can I setup my Thrustmaster T16000 FCS Joystick for operating Tanks (have not purchased tanks yet) and also aircraft when one key is used for both sims and may affect other. Hope my post makes sense.
Thad Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 (edited) Unfortunately one currently can't keymap things up perfectly for both uses at the same time. ? I created a input folder for tanks and another for single engine and multi-engine craft. The chosen one must be put in place before starting the game. I have mine set up as mods so that I can deactivate and activate the chosen one as desired. Below is a image of my Tank setup. It is a few patches old and uses JoyToKey to permit aiming the turret with the joystick. ? Edited February 19, 2019 by Thad
CB77Don246 Posted February 20, 2019 Author Posted February 20, 2019 Thank you Thad for your reply, good idea that a input folder do I just make two new input folders one planes and one tanks and put them in my JSGME Mods folder then activate ether before running sim ?.
Sokol1 Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 (edited) JSGME is an option, set controls for planes, then copy the "Input" folder for JGSME - rename as convenient, then make another set for tanks and copy. Load as needed before start the game. Or use Joystick Gremlin or Joy2Key and create "profiles", you can change then in game, but require dedicate a joystick or throttle button for this function.
