=RS=Stix_09 Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 if u can connect to your dserver and they can't then the issue is likely the router , not having the ports open 28000 and 28100. for external connections. I had to set port forwarding on the router to allow external connections to dserver. So because you computer connects (ie you il2 game client connecting to dserver) is on the inside network it doesn't need to have these ports open . Sounds like the windows firewall is setup with these ports open on the computer running dserver or you game client would still be blocked as well, hence why it appears to be a router issue. u can test ports are open by first running dserver and then using a site like "https://www.whatismyip.com/port-scanner/" to test the port is open. but make sure dserver is running first

If your friends can't see the server, it's because it's not configured to be accessible from the Internet. If you're running the server from the in-game GUI, you'll see a checkbox to that effect. If you're doing things properly, the parameter you need to set in your sds file is: ExternalIP=1 Having fixed that, if they can see it listed but can't connect, it will be either a port forwarding or firewall issue.
