II./JG27_Rich Posted February 23, 2014 Author Posted February 23, 2014 A truly fascinating topic and a well made presentation (even I could follow it!). If you've never been to Bletchley Park I'd warmly recommend a visit, especially now that they've got more funds end improving a lot of the exhibition areas. I took this pic of the superb Lorenz machine on my last visit, what an incredible piece of engineering! It boggles my mind how many varriations there were on that enigma machine. Was it 100 million million? Thanks for the pic Sternjaeger I'd like to visit there some day for sure.
Sternjaeger Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 The Lorenz was even more impossible to decipher, it only happened because of human error! http://www.codesandciphers.org.uk/lorenz/fish.htm
