oilman Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 I take it with the new Il-2 series head til is available? How does that work?
TP_Silk Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Certainly if you use either head tracking or VR you can do it easily.
Field-Ops Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Head tilt is in with any sort of head tracking. I dont think it is there if you use a hat switch or keys to look around.
E4GLEyE Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 (edited) in my opinion IL2 has the best 6DoF cockpits among current sims.... You can lean out of the aircraft, tilt with the turn, makes it more immersive even without VR to check my 6 I look back and lean a bit to the side I am peeking out of. Can only have dreams about how awesome it must be with a rift added to the mix Edited February 1, 2019 by E4GLEyE using trackhat here

56RAF_Roblex Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Personally, when I used to use TrackIr I turned off head tilt as I did not like the effect. Now I use EDTracker & Opentrack I use tilting my head to get sideways movement as if leaning sideways while keeping the head upright.
