The Zargos Skin Factory closes (and might never reopen again)

Hello dear pilots

I want to inform you that the ZSF will most likely stop all activity from now on.
As a matter of fact, I haven't been feeilng like skinning for sevral months and the desire of skinng has still not come back.
Add to this, some problems with my site hosting and here is he big drop of water that broke the camel.
I'm not saying that I will not make a skin from time to time, but I do not know when.

Before closing this chapter, I wanted to thank everyone who has followed, supported, encouraged and helped me during nearly 20 years.
You have been my main motivation to continue, to try to improve the quality of my work and for that I thank you very sincerely.
Without you the ZSF would not have gone very far.

I'll continue of course to follow the adventure of IL2 and will remain a faithful reader (if not a contributor) of this forum.
Now it's my turn to enjoy yor work.

Oh wow, sorry to see you make this choice Zargos, your excellent work will be missed.

 

It's easy to suffer from burnout and I did for a number of years.  I did  lot of FSX work for A2A Simulations and took a very long break after doing their P51D skins.  It might take a while but I hope you will get the bug once again and start enjoying skinning again.

I'm sorry if some of you think it's too unfair that I stop (even temporarily).
You have to know that for me the decision to announce this news has not been easy.

Somehow, it was hard for me to discover that I did not take pleasure any more in skins when so far I loved it so much.
Until the last moment I told myself that the desire to skin would come back. But that never happened.
So, as much tell you what it was rather than disappear without an explanation. I owed you this at least
Yet I still hope I will have the urge to skins again someday.
Once again, I would like to thank you for your messages. Your support helps me a lot in my decision.

ZARGOS was and is synonymous with always original, historically and technically perfect Skins!
