Panzerlang Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 When the engine goes off (switched off or after a ditch) there's an almighty background racket going on. It stops eventually (sometimes stops and starts again before completely finishing). I'm not sure what it is, maybe wind-rushing effect? But there's a bit of clanking in it too. I think it's only in the K4?
Jade_Monkey Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Just put a recording/track in the bugs section and describe the details.
Panzerlang Posted January 30, 2019 Author Posted January 30, 2019 It's in the Fw190A8 too and it sounds like the radio. I've renamed the radio folder to stop the radio chatter in the game (incredibly loud, unadjustable for volume and annoying) so could it be that? No discernible voices, it's like static.
Luftschiff Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 There are plenty of sound bugs when playing online, I've noticed it most often on WoL and European Official - where sound will either cut out, or get stuck in loops (machine guns firing non stop, or the engine sound playing on a constant loop regardless of engine setting and similar). Most instances have been triggered by someone joining a gunner seat on my plane, but it's also encounterable in single fighters, such as the P39. Presumably any sound can get 'stuck', including the radio. 1
Bremspropeller Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 I regularily have sound-issues when lots of objects are rendered (online and offline; mostly online, though) Sound will first cut out (and only shell-sounds are left), followed by a total loss of sound. 1
Panzerlang Posted January 31, 2019 Author Posted January 31, 2019 (edited) I re-activated the Radio folder and it cured it. Odd glitch. Cheers guys. Edited January 31, 2019 by Uffz-Prien
