I have noticed that the JU88's cockpit view is extremely limited in VR compared to other planes. You can barely lean forward or to the sides before you hit the limits. Most servers that I fly limit VR view. It would be nice to have the views adjusted to have a greater range of view that seem more realistic. I think a mod to remove the forward facing machine gun would be great. I am sure that would take a lot more work but greatly appreciated. Just saying the bombers deserve some love.

I usually only play single player when I use my VR, but I also turn off the VR boundaries. When I go online I use my trackIR to stay competitive spotting wise, so I dont experience this. You might want to mention this in suggestions forum so a Dev jotting down notes for improvements might spot it.

How are you able to go back to 2D? I can't even play Clod any more because it's only 2d. But yes the cockpit box in the ju88 is pretty small and i think it is as far as 2d players can move theyre head. So when i go over to check my Radiator Themps suddenley the pilot pops into existance to my left. Maybe the JU-88 has one of those self inflateing Autopilotes.

+1 - the degrees of free move in the Ju-88 cockpit are very limited with Track-IR in 2D, too. There have been some suggestions to change it, especially by enhancing the *very* limited observer position. F.e. by (like it was done mostly in WW2) removing the forward MG. Adding a setup-option to do so would be great. How much it helps in the cramped Ju-88-cockpit one can see in IL2-CloD offering that option.

Head movement limitations were very small in all other planes but it was fixed some months ago. Flying Bf-109 in VR was a nightmare. Hopefully devs will fix Ju88 too.

I agree that the head boundary boxes are overly restrictive in general. It's especially noticeable when piloting a fighter with the canopy open and you still can't lean your head out the side while taxiing.

You should be able to lean out while taxiing. I'm not sure what settings or other things you may need to look at though. I use VR and taxiing is pretty good for me in the fighters at least.

I can lean out ok in VR with the canopy open (Me and Fw). :)

Primarily, I fly the 109s and I find it nearly impossible to find the narrow sweet spot that allows me to duck out to the left with the canopy open. There is a narrow space where you can do it, I'm just saying its too restrictive.

Also, when leaning forward I hear the "bump" far too early. It breaks immersion when my eyes say I can lean further forward but the game won't let me.
