HagarTheHorrible Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Ok, so it's not a 262 but I just wonder how much it shares in common when it come to engine handling (Oh ! and maybe just a little dreaming of things to come) f-86a-sabre Test pilots perspective. 1
BlitzPig_EL Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 (edited) Well, like any early jet it will have it's idiosyncrasies, but it sure won't have the fragility of the engines of the 262. Edited January 28, 2019 by BlitzPig_EL
HagarTheHorrible Posted January 28, 2019 Author Posted January 28, 2019 The 262 would certainly had problems with JPT. It's interesting to get a first hand account of the sort of engine management regime that might have involved, even if the F-86 is slightly more advanced and less hampered by material substitutes or limitations.
