I stopped playing BoX last year and stripped out most of my cockpit setup so I could concentrate on being a tankie. Some time after that I purchased a new monitor (old one was a Dell 2560 x 1600), an Acer 35" Predator 1330 x 1440. It didn't occur to me to give it a whirl with a flight sim until I watched some BoX vids on youtube and saw footage at a similar res. So reinstalled BoX (I have BoS, BoM and BoK), setup a desktop stick and fired it up. Holy MoG! Lol.
Then I spent a couple of hours getting all my old cockpit back in shape and had another go. Jaw-dropping beautiful and the planes seem to fly better than the last build I was on.

£55 later and now I have Bodenplatte too.

In colloquial english 'tankie' = tank crewman.  

 

Mind you, in colloquial english 'going for a fag' means rather different things depending on which side of the atlantic you live
