Crossing the Don - active VVS airfields

Timeframe: The days leading up to and including the Germans crossing the Don (Aug 20th-ish onwards).

Airfields in question: Kalach, Marinovka, Karpovka

 

I am looking to put targets on those airfields. But I don't know if they were actively being used, and if so with what? I'd assume Fighters and PO-2 if anything but I am unsure... I noticed the career had a mission to attack Kalach AF and that got me noggin joggin with more targets for a big mission concept...
