Got a new Pimax 5k+ but getting double vision in il2

Lets hear a review from an il2 user!  I'm waiting for mine, and likely will be for another month or so.

Cant really say so much. This player saw his best days when the original il2, was a new game. from the 2-3 hours of gameplay I have had, this is better than any other vr-set out there, and has me hooked on flight sims again for the first time in 15 years.

Loving my 8K but the last week and a half has been a tweaking / learning curve.

 

Have a look at my new post on multithreading and Il2.  Those optimisations have made a huge difference to how Il2 runs on my system which is mid range by desktop standards.  With them I led a successful Moscow Career bombing attack on German Arty in my trusty P40.  Knocked them out and my flight with my help also took out the 4 Me110 interceptors that had come in to thwart us.  Only lost 1 pilot in my flight ( he law darted chasing a wounded 110 low to the deck)

 

Still wanting to splurge cash I shouldn't on more hardware to appreciate this sim in high res and Ultra visuals but hmmmmm......  Decisions / Decisions. ?

do you get the double vision effect in Menu + cockpit/flying or only in the Menu?

What kind of actual resolution difference is there between the Pimax and Rift guys?

substantial.

 

1080×1200  for Rift

 

2560×1440  for Pimax

I too would very like to know your thoughts now it's a bit of time you got it.

 

Question : How with the Pimax 5K can you see your keyboard ? Is there a frontal dedicated camera in it ? Can it slide ? Flip ?
