=IRFC=Gascan Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 (edited) I had an absolute blast today. 87 players, 126 planes shot down, 87 ground targets destroyed, 103 flight hours logged. Here are a few screenshots to show some of the action. Things ranged from massive, intense dogfights swirling in a tiny piece of sky to small duels, climbing and diving to gain advantage between the clouds. Entente managed to push through the southern recon, but it cracked up on landing (apparently the wings just completely fell to pieces on touchdown). Although the flight out was relatively calm, the return flight was marked by multiple large flights of Fokkers climbing up to intercept and a fighting retreat. After that, the northern recon was successfully completed, with fewer interceptors rising up to the challenge. I searched for a German recon and found him completely by accident in the middle of a cloud. We then finished up with a pair of HP's attacking the factory, shipyard, army camp, and observation post, with machine-gun clearing provided by a DH-4. Very successful due to most players logging off, making it easy to fly uncontested to the targets. Sad to see everyone go: I was hoping to get a good dogfight with the HPs, but I made due with an AI Albatros near the observation post and a player Dr1 that followed me from the nearby dogfight zone. King Neptune sends two HP's to unleash hell. The factory is destroyed. The shipyard is destroyed. Cuban faithfully sticking with me to strafe machine guns before the big boy gets shredded. The Army Camp Center is destroyed. Cuban got one of the machine guns, Kotori got the other in the bomb layer/front gunner seat. Who says a bomber can't dogfight? Kotori and Hill take aim at an AI Albatros after I bullseyed the Observation Post with my last bomb. Hill fires at a Dr1 that chased us back from the observation post. One of the first dogfights down south. Another dogfight down south while interdicting the way home for the recon. Another dogfight down south, after the recon dragged a couple Jastas worth of Fokkers to come play. My Bristol got engaged after I took out the northern balloon on the way home from the recon. I put up a good fight with Talbot in the gun seat, but they cut my rudder cables early on and severely limited my maneuverability. An angry Dolphin spits fire at a recon plane that got really unlucky on the way home. Edited August 1, 2022 by gascan add description to the screenshots 4

JGr2/J5_Baeumer Posted November 27, 2022 Posted November 27, 2022 (edited) Nice to be over 100 PvP once again! Thanks to all the community data wonks and gatherers, whiners (who had a role to play and played it), testers, and the new leadership at 1C for listening and caring enough to save this WWI sim and community! JGr2/J5_Hotlead Posted December 19, 2022 Posted December 19, 2022 Had a bit of time off last Sunday, so I got to get back in with some awesome action on Flugpark! I had the pleasure of winging with Jasta 5, doing everything from fighter intercepts, to balloon busting, to recons. Thanks for letting me tag along, guys! It was a true pleasure. ? https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1682561355
JGr2/J5_Klugermann Posted December 19, 2022 Posted December 19, 2022 Never fired my guns in the 2 hrs that I flew with you. lol
JGr2/J5_Hotlead Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 Last Sunday, I got the opportunity to fly with the fine gentlemen from Jasta 5 on Flugpark. The action was everywhere and we had some great fights defending our targets! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1715434512 1
JGr2/J5_Hotlead Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Last Sunday, I had the time free to fly on Flugpark during the Sunday furball. The servers are consistently full and there is action no matter where you look! Had an awesome time flying with my JG1 squadmates, J5, J2 (not on comms), and J30. We ran recons, intercepted recons, and got involved in plenty of huge scraps. In case you thought FC was dead/dying... think again. It's just kicking off! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1729307904
JGr2/J5_Hotlead Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Last Sunday's action on Flugpark was loads of fun, as always! Early on, we took a large formation over enemy lines, getting into some pretty wild scraps. Afterwards, near the end, we intercepted a Handley Page coming home from a level bombing mission. Right as the mission ended, I got engaged with @=IRFC=bbob in an Se5a. What followed was a white-knuckled fight, during which he put on a clinic for how to use the tilted Lewis gun in a close quarters fight. Salute and well done! Until next time! ? https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1736446306
