No._WickedFox Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Hi, I am using track ir and everything works just fine exept this small thing, Imagine you are in a dogfight and looking slightly up while the bogey is where you want him in the gunsight then you pull the trigger to finish him off and WHAM track ir gets centered to gunsight and when you let go of trigger the TIR center has moved slightly. To test i looked 90 deg left and pulled the trigger and presto you are looking down the gunsight, now letting go of trigger your TIR center has moved wayyyy off to the left so if head points forward your view now is out the right wing ? this small quirk annoys the heck out of me ! And before you mention key bindings, my TIR keys are bound to my Warthog throttle on seperate buttons used soly for that purpose.. Anyone know how to fix this ? Please b4 i delete the entire sim from my HD

Still, check your key assignment carefully in both software - IL2 Great Battles AND TrackIR (Profiles). The way you explained the issue resp. behavior of your TIR, it's quite sure to me, it has something to do with a "double" key binding problem.
Brano Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 There is a key for centering of view in game setup (numpad 5 default?) Maybe you have there your gun trigger....so it doesnt have to be TIR problem.

Checked that and nope only num5, Thx anyway 1 hour ago, -IRRE-Therion said: Still, check your key assignment carefully in both software - IL2 Great Battles AND TrackIR (Profiles). Checked and double checked Only TIR binding is to the mini joy center on the stick, I assigned that very button to an ingame function to see if it was used elsewhere in game but nope no flag raised so my conclution was that particular button is only used for TIR center. And furthermore no other assignments is linked to the trigger as i can find in game.. But i will try reset all in game keybindings anyway .. Thx for answers pls.. do toss in any other ideas if any.. at this point im really at a loss to why this behaviour exists..
No._WickedFox Posted January 24, 2019 Author Posted January 24, 2019 Solved it As it turns out the TIR software does not distinguish between button 1 on the throttle and B1 on the stick so both was triggering the center command.. Altso tried with the second joystick card i have for buttons and sure enough button 1 on joystick controller 1, 2 and 3 all sends the same command to the TIR software. Hope this helps if someone runs headlong into this prob in the future
Brano Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Good to hear you solved the problem. Wish you a happy centenring ?? 1

Now button 1 on throttle and button 1 on stick is seperate entities to the TIR software
Drawbar Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Does the warthog software allow you to set your stick and throttle so the game only sees one controller with lots a buttons and axes? If so you can work around this. CH products does that, sad the control manager doesn't work in windows 10. Complicated as hexx to use, but issues like this could be worked around.
