JohnHolmes Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 (edited) I was out at Ardmore NZ late last year to see the restored Mossie and was super surprised to see her on the tarmac. Edited January 24, 2019 by JohnHolmes 3
danielprates Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 It looks like it has just left the assembly line!
HBPencil Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Although it's mainly about his Kingfisher, there's some stuff about that P-39 in this vid: 1
HBPencil Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 She should be having her maiden flight right as I type this. Unfortunately (for me) the restorers only gave a 30min heads-up so there's no way I'd get out there in time, so I hope some more of her test flights are during this weekend so I can go see her fly, which would probably be the only time(s) that anyone in my part of the world could see an airworthy P-39! I'll keep an eye out for any vids of her maiden flight.

HBPencil Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Fair bit of whine going on here, might pay to turn your volume up. 3 1
