As part of the aborted invasion of the UK, the Nazis made a booklet of Britain for senior Nazi officers detailing key utilities and landmarks as well as the best state homes to reside in.

I still don't think the Germans could have crossed the channel with Britains Navy in the way. Even with no air cover.
