I wish multiplayer was mission oriented enough in this game to find it a role where it could be used without being consistently slaughtered.

It's handicapped by a boost timer but not nearly as bad as the P-40. It's one of the fastest planes in the BoK but you have to set it properly. In this sortie I won the chase with an excellent pilot flying the G-14 but got energy trapped and shot-down afterwards. Why? By the timer which forced me to lower boost because the full (1550hp) WEP is only for 2m. The latter is an unhistorical nonsense; Russian pilots weren't flying like that and they replaced engines as needed. No... the plane is alright; the Devs decision to use crude and unrealistic timers is bad. 1 1

Few people would own it if it was not bundled with Kuban. It would be interesting to mine server stats to see how much flight time this plane gets relative to other fighters in the VVS plane set among players that own Kuban.
