3D activated, crash on load

Hi,

I have reinstalled my PC and I wanted to install another time IL2BOS, so I went and installed it from the last installer download today from il2sturmovik.com page. Now it is called IL2 Great Battles, anyway the installer/launcher seems the same.

I find that if I have 3D Vision disabled in NV CP (NVidia Control Panel) when the game loads, then there is no problem, but if I have it activated in NV CP, and I let it to turn on (normally when game launches) it crashes in the load screen (see sshot). If, as soon as the game launches and the screen becomes black, I disable 3D Vision with hotkey (Ctrl+T) then the game loads but as soon as I hit Ctrl+T to activate it, the game crashes in the same way.

 

I have reinstalled it 5 times already in different folders/names, no luck. Launched with or without 3D fix (I use 3DFix Manager), run as admin, no luck. It crashes. 

 

I use the very same resolution than in desktop. Also tested fullscreen in the launcher settings AND in-game (set entering previously without 3DVision). Also with V-Sync in-game setting activated. Also without fullscreen in launcher nor in-game, etc.

 

I have installed 5 times, and each one it has been downloaded by the launcher app, I can't believe that all 5 times it did the same 'random' error. I say 'random' because there are people, for who it works fine. I uninstalled (with DDU from safe mode) graphic driver (I had the last 417.71) and installed the previous one 417.35, no luck.

 

Before the current version 3.009 it did not crash (although not sure for the recent previous versions, I had not installed). Am I alone? Do someone have some suggestion to try?

Unfortunately, support for 3D Nvidia feature does not work after 3.009. We know about this problem and will try to fix it as soon as possible.

Well, thank you for the reply and clarification. Then I have to wait -eagerly- for the next update. I hope it will be soon, or at least not too late, it was a dream to fly it in 3D ?

I see that in 3.010 the game crashes with 3DVision. I guess it is not my fault, but the game which is still not fixed, it isn't? Tx
