Help needed

Hi guys I've just purchased the premium edition of bodenplatte(baseplate)I think it's the latest version as this is my first purchase of Il2 sturmovik in 15yrs I can't seem to get any missions or campaigns everything is locked do I need to purchase such as the battle of Stalingrad for me to have missions.  Call me stupid but this is all new to me any advice would be much appreciated.

You can fly "career campaign" while "scripted campaigns" are paid content.

Also there should be some free missions.

Hi Thanks for the reply I've tried to fly career mode but it just shows 3 battle campaigns locked when I go to career mode ??

That's because you don't own those other titles.

Barticus300,  Bodenplatte is still in early access, and neither the career or map for it have been released yet, along with a number of aircraft. For now there should be at least two maps available for quick missions, and you should be able to join multiplayer servers where you've got the right aircraft.

Brilliant I did wonder that when I seen the early access how do I get the two maps ? If there available and I've never played multiplayer before.

Andy ignore my last past didn't read it properly sorry I guess I can get the two maps by going into quick mission. Thanks for your help guys

Some MP servers have the bodenplatte plane sets available. Should you choose one of these from the server list, you will be able to fly any of the birds that are currently released in your package, on any map the MP server has selected.

Oh you own Bodenplatte...i should read more carefully, as others said you'll need to wait official release or purchase BoS/BoM/BoK.

Yes, it's normal. Sorry but either you wait for BoBp to be fully released, or you buy some of the other titles. If you can, I'd suggest you go for the latter. But if you want to save money, just wait for the next promotional campaign of sales, thanks to it you'd be able to buy BoS and BoM @ ~40% less, and BoK @ ~20% less. It probably will come in the 2nd quarter of 2019, or third at worst.

Still, don't take it as a prophet word of course, I'm not in charge of the 1CGS sales !!

You can fly the Spit IX in the Knights Of The Air server at the moment.

 

If you cannot afford to buy another of the games right now then there is also the option of buying a Collectors plane that is allowed in earlier maps.  The Yak-1b is considered one of the best VVS fighters or if you prefer Germans then there is the Bf109-G6 or FW190-A3.     https://il2sturmovik.com/store/collector-planes/
