Guest deleted@50488 Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 Saw it at a magazine store today, but just as expensive as a "collector plane" for IL-2 BoX, so... Anyway, interesting read, for those who like it ... https://www.editions-heimdal.fr/fr/historica/992-historica-n94.html

Bremspropeller Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 I have the book by the same title by the same publisher (Heimdal). It's good. It's been the third book by Heimdal I have bought this year on the general topic of post Overlord air ops in the west - the other ones were: - 50 aérodromes pour une Victoire (about the 50 allied airfields that made post- D-Day air ops possible and about the attached USAAF/ RAF units) - La Luftwaffe face au Débarquement (the Luftwaffes counter-attack in Normandy until late august 1944) - De Nuages et de Feu (about the Ardennes/ Bodenplatte) "Bodenplatte" is still the go-to book about...well...Bodenplatte. Another good book about the Ardennes/ Bodenplatte timeframe on the WF is "To Win The Winter Sky".
