=SqSq=Sulaco Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Having just played through a P-51 & Spitfire campaign in a different unnamed flight sim, it got me wondering why we don't have custom voice overs in the scripted campaigns for Great Battles. There was WWII era music & radio playing on the airfield before startup, I was able to tune in to Radio Berlin during my flight and there were even custom voice overs for startup, communication with the bomber groups & the fighter cover as well. Keep in mind this was all custom VO not that robotic style "Bandits at one five for six". Will we ever get a similar treatment for our Great Battles scripted campaigns? I can't overstate how much this added to the immersion & overall "wow" factor. Now that we're starting to see even more fantastic campaigns added to this title I think it would be a great addition. Thoughts? 1 1

Especially for single player campaigns the overall feeling of "really being there" is very important for a long-time simming. All the little things like people and carts at the airfield, lights in the evenings, and voice com are not only just resource-hungrier - they also contribute immensely to an overall feeling of deep immersion.
