=38=Tatarenko Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 She can't land (yet) but can turn, climb and dive. 6
=38=Tatarenko Posted February 16, 2014 Author Posted February 16, 2014 no, but nor can I (except when the house is empty and all the windows are closed!)
Georgio Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Nice one Ian; the next generation is coming along prior to the Rift. She'll look back on that image in years to come and laugh like we did looking at horse drawn carts....^^ 2
Endy Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Huh, laugh at horse drawn carts. We still use them where I live.
Jason_Williams Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I think it's time for a monitor upgrade Ian. Jason 1
Emgy Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) Huh, laugh at horse drawn carts. We still use them where I live. Well, some terrain is still better to traverse with a legged animal/vehicle. Edited February 16, 2014 by Calvamos
sallee Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Huh, laugh at horse drawn carts. We still use them where I live. Gwynedd? You mean, "we already use them" surely? Lovely part of the world. 1
Volkoff Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Tatarenko, Awe! What a lovely and adorable young lady! She can't land (yet) but can turn, climb and dive. Ha! Then she knows as much as I do about the IL2. I haven't landed one with an intact tail section, yet! MJ
6./ZG26_Emil Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I think it's time for a monitor upgrade Ian. Jason Forget the monitor we should donate money so he can get a colour camera
ll./JG77_JadeBandit Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Careful, you might be buying this one flying lessons at 16 instead of driving sessions if you keep this up
Freycinet Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Your girl has gotten big since I last saw pics of her (in Malta, I believe)! I now see that the time-honoured British tradition of a cluttered cockpit lay-out is still alive and well... :-)
76SQN-FatherTed Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 You should have at least let her use Track IR
=38=Tatarenko Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 Thanks for all the comments - yes, she's big now (5) and stacks of fun. As for the cluttered cockpit - that was AFTER I tidied up!!
71st_AH_Mastiff Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 wow A 4:3 monitor what year was that?
[JG2]R7_Blackadder Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I see you use a CH joystick & throttle. Is that good as they tell me ?
pilotpierre Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I see you use a CH joystick & throttle. Is that good as they tell me ? In my opinion yes, solid, reliable and outlast anything else on the market.
=38=Tatarenko Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 I see you use a CH joystick & throttle. Is that good as they tell me ? Yes I love mine! And the TQ has levers for Throttle, Mix, Water Rads, Oils Rads and Wheelbrakes (and a spare). And 12 switches for cabin lights, supercharger, tailwheel lock etc. It's perfect for me.
[JG2]R7_Blackadder Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I was thinking about it. Surely it doesn't look nice but...thanks
II./JG27_Rich Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 That's excellent! I hope she stays interested.
MarcoRossolini Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Me not too long ago I remember being introduced to FS 95 when I was 2 or 3 or something...
