Epic flight, we got snowed, ice, windy, windshear heavy turbulence, hail, sun, calm winds ,warm conditions, blue skies all in one hr flight, and great fun at the gravel bars.

That looks like fun! Thanks for sharing. Good job you didn't try it in a U-2VS though - you'd be stuck in the gravel and nosed over .

I don't really know how I'd feel about doing anything with gravel bars around here. I've seen cars get stuck on the one in the river by my house. The gravel probably came from the same source, seeing as that's how erosion and mountain ranges work. I know the plane would be faster than a car, but still, quite daring!
