SCG_OpticFlow Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 What is the meaning of the white lamp indicators marked "Umschalterstellung links/rechts" in the Bf-110? Sometimes they are on, most of the times they are off, but what do they do? Looks somehow related with fuel management... Screenshot attached. 1
Leon_Portier Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 I´d say Umschalterstellung means switch position. Apart from that obvious observation I could not get the lamp to light up, well my milage with the 110 is very small. Any Idea under which conditions they light up?
Plurp Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 (edited) They light up when transferring fuel from rear tanks to front tanks which feed the engines. Above 44%, fuel fills up the rear tanks which then will start transferring to the front tanks when they are low on fuel. Edited January 10, 2019 by Plurp 1 2 1

Take off in Bf-110-E2 with 50% fuel and after few minutes of flight on combat power it lights up.
Ripstop59 Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 When all 4 red lights are on you've got about 10-15 minutes of fuel left.
