Myflight12joes44 Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Just wondering if it is at all possible to purchase battle of bodenplatte on disk. And as I understand it it's release date is sometime in the late spring?
[CPT]milopugdog Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Negative, ghost rider. Only BoS was available on disk. And by in disk, they meant a key for Steam to register the product, and then a CD probably with the launcher to download the game from the website. Nothing agaisnt it, but they're kinda pointless in this day and age of digital distribution.

Hardly pointless since many still live with quite stringent monthly data limits, even in supposedly developed countries (Looking at for example you two, USA and Canada), but understandably pretty cumbersome for the developers to have available for those that need one.
Jason_Williams Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 I'm sorry, but we no longer put our products on disks. Jason
Haza Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 (edited) I currently have two unused PC-DVDROM versions of BoS and ROF Channel Battle that I bought for my Son hoping to get him to play when he got a PC! Ironically he bought a PC and then told be that discs on PCs were for old people as everything is now "down-loadable", so I currently now have a number of things to code gift him! Oh how things have changed, but a least I'm glad we now longer have the cards and cassettes that I used at school and on my old Commodore 64!! I'm keeping the above games it as I'm sure one day they will be considered classics at an Antique road show type event! Just out of interest, does anybody know if the codes within the box sets have a life span or in theory can they be used at any-time? regards Edited January 8, 2019 by Haza
