MatrixNeoTheOne Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 I'm trying to play IL-2 Cliffs of Dover missions (with the beta group, "teamfusionupdate - Team Fusion latest patch" applied) with my brother who is at another location/network. His rig and mine are both on internal, non-routable subnets (192.168.x.x). So far nothing we do makes anything show up. We both have tried creating servers and new lobby's but nothing shows up at the remote end. Anyone have any tips for getting this to work.
DD_FT- Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 The one that's hosting should open/port forward 27015 UDP on the router... (How that needs to be done will depend on the brand/model router in use)
Team Fusion Buzzsaw Posted January 4, 2019 Team Fusion Posted January 4, 2019 Lobby hosting is not working right now. We will be releasing a patch for this in the next week.
DD_APHill Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 After yesterdays patch which I think was supposed to fix the lobby issue I still cannot "create" an ac for myself on my own server. Did the way one sets a multiplayer server up change? I can start the server, click on a flag select an a/c click on “create” and it shows my selected a/c and my name under it. It doesn’t put me in the cockpit. I am doing this through the in game interface using the “Lobby” function. I have tried the “Server” function as well. I get the same result either way. I would love to get this sorted out so I could host again as I could before. Thanks
ATAG_kiwiflieger Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Might be in your realism settings, uncheck all the boxes that say 'Cannot select side, group, aircraft, position' etc. 1
DD_APHill Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Bingo! that did it. Thanks so much! Cant believe I didn't notice that. I just "assumed" those settings hadn't changed. Glad to get it going. Cliffs is getting good once more! 1
