Global Paint Charts

A couple of years ago I found a good RLM color chart and created a custom pallette in Gimp for learning to skin. I was somewhat successful in the skinning but the color chart was awesome to pull up for the color picker. I dumped Gimp 2.8 and upgraded to 2.10 but forgot to save my custom RLM pallette first. (Rookie!!)

 

I can find charts online but they tend to be grainy and not really suitable for the color picker. I tried the forum seach funtion but so far no dice. Does anyone have a good chart or pallette they can post for early and late war RLM colors? Either in a native Gimp/PS format or just good saturated colors I can create a palette from.

 

Just as importantly, each nation will have their own standard colors. Can we compile all of the color charts into one global sticky for the Skins and Templates tab for users to come here and have an easy reference for skinning in either Gimp or PhotoShop?

 

I'm learning all over again.

My LW aircraft templates have an RLM Variations layer.  I made it using the most common RLM colours listed above in the IPMS Stockholm site.  Feel free to use my existing RLM chart for any use you desire.

Here is my photoshop collection of RLM colours. It contains a lot of colours and shades/fades from different sources and some from the game itself.

Here is a link to a good site with soviet colours. These are a bit too bright for IL-2 though. They need some fading to look good.
