Adding files to PM

Could someone tell me how to add files to a PM, i need to send an error report to a tester.   Cheers

Believe it or not, you have to do the following:

1. Start a new forum topic or start a reply to an existing forum topic.

2. Upload the attachment (no need to add it to the post) and cancel the new forum topic.

3. In the PM, click Insert other media and then choose Insert existing attachment.

4. Select the attachment and click Insert Selected.

 

I believe the attachment will always appear in the attachment box for any new post or reply until you delete the attachment (or perhaps until you insert it into a post). 

 

It would be a lot easier if the PM interface had the box to add attachments.
