Best settings for flight track recording?

Hey guys! 

 

I’m looking to start making videos in the Il-2 engine. What video capture software do you guys advise I use? I tried FRAPS, but I got random lags/glitches in my recordings. I’d like something that could capture high-quality footage without killing the frame rate or glitching the footage. 

 

My PC specs:

- GTX 1080 Ti

- i7-8700K processor 

- 16 GB DDR4 RAM

- 1 TB SSD

- 1 TB HDD

- Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

 

Currently running the game on ultra.

I would say Shadowplay, since you have Nvidia card.

I considered Shadowplay but it seemed to be locked into GeForce Experience, which I had seen negative comments about.

 

I'm trying out OBS Studio, which is open source and appears in a few "Best" lists I read.

I tried Fraps and Shadowplay too, but i have the best performance and picture quality with Bandicam.
