SCG_ErwinP Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 Hey guys, i need a little help. I updated the mobo BIOS & GPU driver yesterday and after that the FPS isn't fixed in 75 (my monitor have FreeSync and work at 75Hz.) In game VSync is enabled as before (I don't changed in game settings when updating driver). In other games it's working fine and at 75 FPS fixed. The FRTC is also enabled. Thank you guys and happy new year!
SCG_ErwinP Posted December 29, 2018 Author Posted December 29, 2018 I've found the solution: I disable the "Wait for vertical refresh".
LLv34_Flanker Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 (edited) S! I have the Vega 64 too, PowerColor RedDevil, and did some undervolting + slight overclocking. Had a major impact on FPS in IL-2. Combined with the FreeSync screen a totally stutter free gaming experience. Temperatures also dropped and wattage consumption. SCG_ErwinP Posted January 3, 2019 Author Posted January 3, 2019 (edited) I used Undervolting + Overclocking in 18.9.xx and 18.10.xx drivers versions but after 18.11.xx driver my computer crashed all the time. I downgrade to 18.10.xx driver version but AsRock launch a new BIOS version and is a prerequisite video driver 18.12.xx. So, at moment I running without UnderVolting & OC I have a FreeSync monitor as well, it's running very nice! Happy New Year! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At ground or low level my PC do ~70 FPS with some drop to ~60 FPS, in the sky 75 FPS all the time. My monitor is a LG 29UM69G 75Hz FreeSync. My RAM is 3466 but running @3200, all above it crashes. Edited January 3, 2019 by 3./JG15_HansPhilipp
