Joystick purchased in august with moderate use died. After some research decided to investigate and found out the issue was poor cable management.

Hair thin cables were pinched and eventually cut by plastic sensor plate. Design flaw or just bad luck?

Fixed with some soldering and tape, will see how long it will last.

I'v had the same stick for years now, no problem. Maybe I'm just lucky?

Titanium cables reinforced with antimatter but luck aside, i had to tape around bunch of cables in mine.
