vx111vx111swift Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 For some reason the pitch trimmers on tail of aircraft are shaking causing the plane to shake violently . Is there a way to stop this . I got the throttle working but now this is something new, it does not do it in quick mission only in Havoc Over Kuban
unreasonable Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 Strange behaviour of certain keys is sometimes due to the keys being bound to more than one command. Check your pitch trim hotkey binding in settings to see if there is a conflict. If there is, get rid of it and try again. If that does not solve the problem...I can only assume that Santa is sitting on your tail plane to hitch a ride; his Reindeer having been shot down by anti-aircraft fire.
Ribbon Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 In quick mission you are airborne so inlet (or outlet, upper ones on engine) shutters are closed while in campaign you spawn on the ground and they are fully open. You need to close them fully and elevator will stop shaking! 2
Herne Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 (edited) I missed "Havoc over Kuban" Yes A20 you have to shut your upper cowling ( I think this is mapped to inlet, but not sure ) been a while since I last flew it. The cowlings purpose was to aid with cooling while idling / taxiing on the ground. They had to be closed for take off. Edited December 24, 2018 by =11=Herne
vx111vx111swift Posted December 24, 2018 Author Posted December 24, 2018 Thanks for the help. It was the upper engine cowl not closing.
Siegfried Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 And I think that in some cases the P47 have the same issue with cowling flaps.
