il2crashesnfails Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 So I was minding my own business then someone did this! what was the international law in ww2 regarding red cross marked aircraft
BubiHUN Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 The Conventions of Genova contains much more information about this subject, and yes, it forbids to shoot down people with the Red Cross markings, doing any harm to them. This is true for any vehicle.

unreasonable Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 They only gain immunity under the current Geneva conventions if they themselves are following certain rules. For instance, Red Cross marked vehicles and planes may not carry unwounded combatants or munitions. So if pilots had good reason to believe that a Red Cross marked plane was breaking these rules, shooting it down would not be a war crime. That is all by the way: since Adolf had declared that his forces would not follow the Hague rules in the Eastern theatre (although they did, at least the armed forces did for the most part, in the West) his forces had no right to claim their protection. 1 1

Those accts of LW dishonor had huge impact on civilian, they gain fear of invaideers and do make chaos and disorganized logistics or draw resources making defense weaker. -332FG-Gordon200 Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 Aside from the debate about legality of firing on a medical transport for a moment. If you are using a custom skin that the other player doesn't have the other player will see your plane in the default skin. 1
SYN_Haashashin Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 Hi all, This forum is not the place to discuss the politics of the Geneve convention and its application or not in this or that war. I never thought about that but the skin is just the one in the battle of Stalingrad package
