spit v was bought from steam but not running

I bought 3 aircraft from steam and have lost that money.  This I accept.  When I repurchased 2 of those aircraft from IL2 BoS website I could only do so as gifts.  This to my surprise would not allow me to use them for my own purposes in my game.   Please help.  I love flight simming and the IL2 BoS is truly a collective work of art.  I am frustrated with thye response from Steam.  I will only buy from the IL2 website from now on.

well, there is something wrong with your account, because you said that you could buy 2 aircraft form the IL2 website only as a gift. To me it sounds as if you already have those 2 planes and therefore you can only buy them as a gift. Make sure, you are using only one and the same account (nickname / email address) to run your game resp. to buy things.

 

So, my question to you is:

 

- Is your nickname "pjmack11377" the same name you use to log into the game "IL2 Greate Battles"? This has nothing to do with your login name of Steam!

- If you check your purchases here on the IL2 website, can you see your planes you acquired from Steam?

 

 

If not, try to register the activation key here. You   should find a registration key of your product you purchased on your Steam account.

IRRE,  Thank you for the reply.  I have only one account as far as I know.  I am frustrated with Steam because they do not supply a cd key for online content.  I have checked the forums and this seems to be an existing problem.  Ill live with what I have and enjoy the holidays shedding all Steam frustrations.  Merry Christmas

STEAM did the same thing to me--the download stopped half way through--they said I had all of it--and I never got my planes.

STEAM should be abolished.

It has no place anywhere around this otherwise excellent sim.

GET RID OF STEAM!!!!
