Hello,

I'm trying to use a Microsoft SideWinder Pro joystick and no matter what I do, the throttle axis is always reversed.

I have tried setting it via min/max and by max/min.

I have also tried clicking the "invert" button in game. I tried this a number of times in succession, it seems to not work.

I have tried clearing the binding and rebinding.

I'm out of ideas, is there a config file I can manually put this in?

PS I'm using Oculus and when I click the invert button, steam VR pops up for a brief second, maybe that is interfering?

Thanks :)

-T

Edit: I have tried without VR and it still remains inverted no matter what I do.

It sounds like the invert button isn't working for you.

I believe there is a file with your bindings where you can set invert=1. I'm not at my PC and can't remember where it is located atm. I'll get back to you about it later if you can't find it.

I still didn't get this working. I found the file in inputs, but I don't think I can just slap invert=1 in there, not sure what to input? :(

You did press "accept" instead of "exit" when making changes to keybinds?

Edit: Actually the other option is "cancel". And to be clear I mean the moment when you're about to exit the binding section, not the pop-up box when you move your throttle to get axis binded.

Yep i'm definitely hitting accept, as i have bound other things this way too.

That's strange. I never had issues with the invert button.

Is the throttle inverted with all planes? There was some bug with certain planes (a20 atleast) when you used simple engine management. I just don't remember what the bug did exactly but it messed engine controls.

It was happening with all planes. My joystick has since stopped being recognised by my PC so I'm just going to buy a new one instead. Thanks for the assistance! :)
