No.85_Camm Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 I have tried repeatedly without success to reload the guns for the turrets on a PE2. The mechanism is there...……..but they just will not reload and fire. Is this a bug?

As Luke said, the top and ventral gunner positions in the Pe-2 have belt fed guns, the entire ammunition load is in a single belt, if you go through it then there is no more. Only the fuselage side gun has ammo boxes than can be reloaded. Edited December 20, 2018 by -=PHX=-SuperEtendard
THERION Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Yes, I observed this quite long ago - that's why I always give the order to only engage enemy planes at short distance. This may save some ammunition. But as for the A20 you actually can reload the guns - they have ammo boxes, although not unlimited.
