Like the option of being able to create own runways! So it is now possible to create accurate air bases!

I just LOVE some of those additions. The FMB changes - formations!!! At last! Thank you, TD! The take off assistance (to find the correct runway) and runway plate options look very handy, too. Then there's the visual improvements. I love the bellylanding marks and also the fire's light appearing on the fuselage panels. Superb.

The new landing gear features look very promising as well.

 

It makes you double-check the instruments more often instead of just hitting G.

I have been away from IL2 1954 for a little while, but have been keeping up to date on the patches, and this one is just amazing.  Now, I will have to add 4.11 and 4.12 ASAP, and get back into something besides CoD.
