Hi, 

 

Most of the time there is nobody on the WW1 area and nobody does not want to wait 10min or more for someone. 

So I suggest to give some rendez vous here on the forum. For example today I'm avaiable from 15h to 18h UTC. Anyone else?

 

The goal is to have the opportunity to have a nice dogfight with 3vs3 or more.

to be honest been flying every day multiplayer for the past 2 or 3 weeks.

 

im out today, but most days online and ready for some flying in FC.

New Members are very welcome and I would like to encourage everyone to give it a try.

 

Connecting to that channel is no commitment in any way. It's just the opportunity to talk to each other.

sorry I was busy tonight and only flew once quickly earlier today, and the room was strangely only 2 online tonight, I see you joined sent you a message in discord , im a bit to tired to fly tonight but can talk you through discord setting. im on discord

Click download for Windows here (https://discordapp.com/)and install it like any other app. Use your Discord login to get in and away you go!

hi all berloga changed yesterday, no more FC dogfight zone, but new server appeared yesterday its called China jg5 flying circus. its a multiplayer server with different zones, for dogfight, AI , ect.

playing In this server for now, still abit glitchy but really nice.

The problem is - the server is in China. It won't be good for anyone that lives in the western countries; the same with the servers in Japan and Australia. It alienates a big chunk of the WWI multiplayer population. As we've noticed, since everyone was flooding to Berloga, which is also far, but it serves well Europe.

 

Why not just open an unofficial [but official] server in France or Spain for example, run by donations, to gather people and publicize Flying Circus? Why hang it out to dry like that?

Yes, it is rather unconvenient. Is it that much cheaper running the server there?

 

Even with fiber from Europe, i get ~150ms ping. The map and the setup is nice, but ping is really a problem.

I already thought the same but everything I found so far was beyond 40€/m.

A bit to costy for my taste. 

Is there still the need of a Windows server or is there a dserver bin for Linux available by now?

It might be a player who actually lives there. Nowadays, after the bad start of BOS back in the day, Il-2 became a stronghold in Russia and Asia I suppose. They just don't have many players to populate the servers. At least in ROF, most people come from Western Europe. *edit, JG5 from China  that's cool.

You could open a thread with the intent of opening a server and people might help. In ROF, donations were common. I think Syndicate asked once for donations and they had to ask for people to stop donating because they had money to pay for a year already. I'm not sure how many people are flying FC, but it could help. I think Spain and the US laid a new submarine cable. It was going to happen the same to Brazil (to open in 2019 I guess). Depending on the location, the server can be a hub for Europe and the Americas.

Hi anyone. Is Berloga diminishing players in ww2 genre, I hope not but my ping gotten too high I dont know why
