Help please with external view

Hi all

Can anyone please advise how I get the camera on external view to move using my Track IR please?

Basically I like to record solo flights of aircraft and then play it back viewing my display externally from the ground but find it difficult panning the aircraft when it fly's by using the mouse or HAt POV

You can do it in cliffs of Dover 'Blitz' but not sure how you do on BOS/BOM/BOK??

I don't think its possible in this game. You can tweak the camera movement settings to make it easier to move with the mouse though.

Not at my PC now so can't check, but can you padlock your own aircraft from an external fixed camera? I'm sure I used to do that in RoF to make air display movies.

I also want to know that. - sort of - I just want to use the F8 padlock feature but from an enemy plane perspective. would also be nice to know if there is a way to control position of the padlocked plane. - As it is now it's dead center of the screen which often leads to your own plane being pushed down in the bottom of the screen and a very stiff look... Why cant you move around x-y like in other views?

RCtrl+F2 puts the camera on the enemy plane.

Lshft+F8 padlocks a friendly plane(friendly to you) in the center of the screen.

these are default keys.
