Anyone in NA order VKB gear from aliexpress?

Given that the North American VKB web shop is constantly out of stock, I'm considering ordering directly from China at www.aliexpress.com.  If anyone else has gone this route, what has your experience been getting the product shipped to Canada or US?  Shipping of course will cost more, but what about import fees and duties?  Did it arrive within a reasonable amount of time?

 

I would post the same on VKB forum but I can't get them to activate my account.

What is frustrating is VKB posted over on their forums several months ago that they were building up plenty of stock that would be available in just a few weeks.

Guess that never happened. I will say however , they are well worth the wait.

Actually, I just found his Nov 25 newsletter indicating that the next batch of Gunfighters w/ MCG grip is coming "soon".   I'll probably wait and see what happens in January.

I ordered a VKB gunfighter extension from aliexpress. Ordered on Monday and it's already in Ohio according to dhl tracking, so it should arrive to my house early next week. The company that sent it out is " HENGXUN GLOBAL LOGISTICS CO LID "..

 

now, whether i'll get the part i actually ordered is a different question. ? We'll see next week.

if you didn't 'reserve' it then there's a high chance you'll get an 'out of stock' notification in January.

I don't think VKB is doing that.

Best to just keep an eye out for when stock does become available.

Can also email rrhode and ask him to put you on the mailing list for announcements.
