No, you are not stupid. There is no designated key set to do so.

I set up my Thrustmaster HOTAS to have the joystick control the turret. The game uses the mouse as a 'default'.

I use a program called JoyToKey to set up this turret control. See image below.

Once I got it set up… I run the IL2 profile in JoyToKey in the background and I have joystick turret control. JoyToKey is easy to use. Check it out. :salute:

Sorry. There doesn't seem to be any way to export the config files. They stay in the program. ?

ok can you tell to me how i can use and joytokey with game? For example, how i can add my profile there? Because i am in very trouble without joystick... I would want to set only control on turret and driver view with visor.

Ps: Are you sure that you can't condivide it? Try in your game data/input/joys.ffp and joysffmap.cfg and add here please

Mouse control of the turret is the 'default'.

With JoyToKey, you assign the mouse functions to Your joystick

JoyToKey doesn't change the games input settings... that's why you have to run it in the background and then start IL2 to get the changes.

I'm sure you can work it out. You can't really hurt anything with JoyToKey.

Resolve but now have another problem, namely that the joystick is too sensitive (seems force feedback doesn't work). How can I modify it? What is also noise filter and shaking in device option?

And I have other two questions:

1) Which command use visor/binocular view from driver and commander?

2) Can I give orders to the other crew members managed by AI (like Steel Fury)?
