Dutch2 Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Is there a methode to calibrate the VR screen to the right colors, I think it all looks rather pale. I’m running an Samsung Odyssey+
SCG_Wulfe Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 (edited) Have you used any other VR headsets or is this your first? They all look a bit washed out compared to a good monitor. However I find the Odyssey+ has much deeper and more brilliant colours than the rift. What's your gamma set to in the game? You can try lowering it or raising it to taste. Beyond that, there are some colour settings in the Lefuneste 3DMigoto Mod that you could toy with. Edited December 11, 2018 by SCG_Wulfe
Dutch2 Posted December 11, 2018 Author Posted December 11, 2018 I did try the max and minium in the BoS adjustments, but still see these colors are not right. I will try that mod for a better view, only is this mod not changing some TXT files as this can also be done by notepad? Another point does this mod have impact on the FPS?
1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 (edited) Reshade ? BTW this pale looks you find only in Box ? Edited December 11, 2018 by 307_Tomcat
Dutch2 Posted December 11, 2018 Author Posted December 11, 2018 I only do play BoX with my VR headset, so do not know from the other games.
1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Try reshade with Curves enabled , default Box colours look wash out compared to it. BTW you don't have to play games to test colors ,or try some free vr games .
C6_lefuneste Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 you can use my 3dmigoto mod , it includes an option to add saturation, you can tune it as you want.

ironk79 Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 i find my rift to oversatturated. changed saturation via mod from 1.0 to 0.7, looks more natural and realistic than the cartoonish colours on rift. But you are right, generally the image lags looks a bit washed out.
