Funny thing is the older I get, and the further away in time from world war 2, the closer in time it begins to feel!

When I was a kid it was like fifty years before, and that felt like a million years ago.

Now when I think that Hitler was still alive in my grandmothers lifetime, and all those millions, upon millions of people died on account of human insanity, it blows my mind!

We didn’t learn a damned thing, from the look of the present state of the world either!
