Crashing to Desktop upon multiplayer join

I can't really find anything on any forums, but the game crashes on multiplayer join on any server. As soon as the bar reaches 100% the game just crashes to desktop.

Single player works absolutely fine without a fault. So far I've tried letting the game through the firewall and antivirus, as well as playing with graphics options, and straight up turning of antivirus and firewall. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that was the issue. My ping isn't a problem, Wing of Liberty for instance reads about 50-70 ping. Thanks for any help, it's really annoying that it's not working considering I have played multiplayer previously, albeit 6-12 months ago.
