Light signals

I can only recall green flares when you get the "cleared for takeoff" radio call, and white flares when you get near the traffic pattern/circuit of your assigned airfield. When on the ground (in the cockpit) and my airfield is under attack, I hear the air raid siren and AA guns firing. I've honestly never looked for a red flare. When airborne and my airfield is under attack, I cue off the puffs of flak and tracers.

When you're sitting on the ground waiting to take off on an escort mission, the fighter flight lead, airfield and attack/bomber flight lead fire off a number of flairs, at least four a piece. I've not noted down the order or if it is consistent or not.

I have not noted either , but are curious

Understand one signal for take off - should be a green one

And ok for landing ...a green one

Many times coming to base ' landing erlaubt nicht ' but no red signals

I think it's difficult to understand the radio signals, so be great if there were other signals to go after

The chart you linked is for light gun signals when radio communication is lost. It is not for flares. A light gun shoots a colored light at a specific aircraft. It is meant to only be seen by the plane it is intended for.

Ok , but there must be a signal messages in the flares

And when coming to airport the white one shooting up several times may have a meaning ..... And if the airport are under attack it should maybe be red ...

Yes I am sure there is a meaning and I wish I could be of help there. I was just saying that I wouldn't expect the light gun chart to correspond exactly.
