Well I tested one for sale here n Norway a while back. t was with Warthog stick and had 3 different simulators. I tested one jet cfs I never seen before. I do not think you would cope with a 8 hour trip in that thing. The belt kept you in place, but it was not comfortable hanging in them with no G force to help. I wonder how a pair of VR goggles would be with it. Would it work? I mean it need to be stuck in your face in all angles

It was for sale half price , and I was figuring out if it would be liable to start a flight sim sender north in Norway. Even at half price it did cost 11 000$

The ultimate military simulator of 20M$ cost , also for in the  future attractions theme  parks  ,

However It would be much better , like  perfect , with the software simulator of  IL2 BON ... or DCS SIM ,

and VR configuration like Pimax : 

 

Otherwise if you want something   for home that idea would be more possible :
