Elem Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Hi techy guys, As the title says, I've just installed my new ASUS Vega 56 8GB OC GPU and it's fabulous. So I've fired up IL-2 and set all graphics settings to the max and it looks amazing with nice high FPS without any effort. But, after increasing all the settings the small blue spinning start up disc of Windows remains on screen. Now it's not supposed to do that. Any ideas what's causing this?
Elem Posted December 6, 2018 Author Posted December 6, 2018 I have found this is caused by running in Full Frame mode. However, running in FF almost doubles my FPS. I would still like to be able to run in FF without the damn blue disc in the middle of the screen!
Elem Posted December 19, 2018 Author Posted December 19, 2018 Sorted. Seems I was running the monitor below it's max refresh rate, which caused it.
