BF 109 pilots flying without canopy for best vision

is ejecting the canopy as if they were parachuting with the 109 to be able to look back, I think that is unacceptable!

You have no pilot protection then, 1 small bullet can/will kill you.

Flying with VR, I find it really hard to swivel my head a full 180 anyway, so I don't even remove the armour plate let alone the canopy. Occasionally a round will hit the armour plate, and I will lose the canopy, it's times like those that i'm damn grateful I took it lol

And yes...it IS stupid to do...but it's still fun. 

 

That said and in my defense....I've only ever done this in the E7.  The E7 won't likely be out-climbing or running away from most Russian planes in this game.
