Try Il-2 1946 with VP-Modpack. That´s what I use when I feel the urge.

Thanks, I forgot I have it on hdd. I remember I tried it 2 or 3 year before mainly for Me163 and Ta152 against the bombers.

Maybe I´ll try it again

 

 

PS: at what height  B25 operated in the west? and I suppose they was escorted only by the Spitfires.

B-25 mediums? Not sure. Maybe 3-5.000 metres, but I have no hard evidence?

 

Service ceiling for the B-25 Mitchell apparently was 21.000 feet (https://www.airplanesofthepast.com/b25-mitchell-bomber.htm)
